What's the Difference
A NO START problem exists when you turn the key of your vehicle and the engine is spinning but the engine will not start and run. You could have problems with the engine, the spark or the fuel. We will need to do either a no start test or engine analysis.
A NO START TEST includes testing for a lack of spark, fuel, or an engine problem
An Engine Analysis includes testing the ignition, the sensors, the computer, the fuel pressure and the exhaust gases.
A NO CRANK problem exists when you turn the key of your vehicle and nothing happens or you just hear clicks. The engine does not spin and if it does, it does it very slowly. We can perform a Charging - Cranking Analysis that includes testing the alternator, the battery and the starter.
NOTE: We may need to perform an additional test called a circuit test to isolate a wiring problem or a bad electrical component.
