Why Flush Fluids

Why Flush Fluids

Flushing each system will save you money by helping to avoid major component failures untimely breakdowns on the road, lost vacation time and towing fees. There are five separate systems that can be affected.

ANTIFREEZE...becomes acidic with age and contaminated with rust, seal material, and blow by gases with normal use. Contaminated Fluid can damage the water pump, radiator, heater core and the hoses and thermostat. Flush every 3 years or 36,000 miles.

TRANSMISSION FLUID...Becomes contaminated with rust, seal material and moisture with normal use. Contaminated fluid can damage the pumps, the torque converter, the valve body and the solenoids. Flush every 3 years or 36,000 miles.

FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM... The injectors can become restricted with carbon and the engine can get a build up on the valves, the throttle plate and the intake manifold. A carbon build up can cause a rough idle, a lack or power, an engine misfire, engine ping and poor mileage. Flush every 3 years or 36,000 miles.

BRAKE FLUID...Becomes contaminated with rust, seal material, heat and moisture. Contaminated fluid can damage the master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, the ABS valves and related components, and the hoses and lines. Flush every 4 years or 48,000 miles.

POWER STEERING FLUID...Becomes contaminated with rust, seal material, heat and moisture with normal use. Contaminated fluid can damage the pump, the steering rack, the cooler and the hoses and lines. Flush every 4 years or 48,000 miles.
